Rodney Wayne Salons Dig Deep for Christchurch!
Rodney Wayne General Manager Julie Evans hands over a cheque for $14,209.39 to Jason Gunn, spokesperson for the Adopt A Christchurch Family charity.
In response to the devastating earthquakes that hit Christchurch late in 2010 and early 2011, the Rodney Wayne Group searched for an effective way to help family, friends and colleagues affected by the natural disasters.
On March 19th 2011 all of the Rodney Wayne salons nationwide turned black and red in honour of Christchurch, and collected 10% of each salon’s turnover for the day. These funds were donated to the Adopt A Christchurch Family charity.
The total raised on one day of trade was $14,209.39.
