This earthy, romantic and slightly punky hair look was inspired by Jimmy D’s collection entitled ‘It’s a Kind of Magick’. Bringing together elements of darkness,light, witchcraft and an ethereal air, the look has a strong contrast between soft, floaty, textural hair and sleek, hard lines on the plaited side of the head. The hair team was headed by Fudge Hair Director, Luana Coscia

To Get The Look

On damp hair, create a deep side part from the right side of the head and apply Fudge Pump Up and Fudge Root Lift for volume.

Blast dry hair while scrunching in Fudge Salt Spray to give raw texture.

Work through some Fudge Shaper Lite on the smaller side section to keep hair smooth before braiding.

Split the small section part into two sections and do two reverse braids, one above the other following the curvature of head. The braids should look as if they are coming off the scalp , sitting just behind the ear.

Use Fudge Dry Shampoo through remaining hair to soften and give extra texture.

Finish with Fudge Skyscraper and Membrane Gas to set hair while giving it flexibility.
