Trelise Cooper - The New Frontier!

The long wait outside the venue while the crew prepared the backdrop wasn’t enough to dampen anyone’s enthusiasm for what is always one of our most favourite shows. Against an impressive American frontier backdrop Trelise Cooper kicked off with her sassy ‘Cooper’ line featuring oversized cowboy hats and denim jackets and jeans.

Described as ‘American Prairie Couture’ the Cooper range certainly lived up to its name. Corduroy made yet another comeback along with sequined dresses and stars & Stripes motifs. The look was very much ‘Saloon Girls’ having a wild fun time out west. Trelise’s inspiration was a Navajo feel based around the film Deadwood.

The second part of the show featured a return to colour with beautiful pale pastels, beautiful rust Jacket pant suit, exotic prints and a suit range for women executives titled ‘Trelise Cooper Boardroom’.

Highlights were skirt prints of swans inspired by the film ‘The Black Swan’ and sequined black cocktail dresses which finished off another excellent collection.

Backstage Grant Bettjeman lead the L’Oreal Professionnel hair creative team creating some amazing looks. Another fabulous show that will no doubt satisfy fashionistas as there was something in there for everyone.
