Use Your Illusion To Create Surreal Summer Colours!

Now you can ‘Use your illusion’ to create the space where dreams and reality live side by side, with L’Oréal Professionnel’s new colour collection ‘Summer Illusion.’ Recently we attended the official launch at the Servilles Academy in Queen Street, Auckland.

Servilles Creative Team led by Paul Serville let their imagination run wild by embracing the surreal and spectacularly brought ‘Summer Illusion’ to life showing the world we see is not always as we believe it to be.

"This summer the catwalk look is all about illusions, the world where dreams and reality live side by side and Servilles and L’Oréal Professionnel are proud to deliver the look to all of New Zealand,” Said Paul Serville.

Hayley Pullyn L’Oréal Professionnel National Technical Manager added, "We love working with Paul and his team - they are so professional and creative and exciting and brilliantly portray their own inspiration from the Summer Illusion collection,”

‘Summer Illusion’ is set to captivate women, free their surrealistic ideas and of course, enchant their hair colour. The colour collection perfectly sets off the gorgeous L’Oréal Professionnel INOA ammonia-free colours to their most brilliant best.

The Servilles Creative Team comprised of Kyla Rose, Emma Ecott, Penny Fugle, Olivia Davies, Wheriko Tarawhiti, Sarah Anwar, Lucy Hsieh and Tara-Lee Mitchell. Stylist for the show was Darren Meredith while designers Shona Tawhaio, Dominic Intent, Linda Lepou, Sable and Minx, Brady and Whitecliffe fashion design provided the garments.

As the equinox fades into memory and the sun again warms, it’s time to energize the evolution and update your look with a range of exciting new colours that articulate the hair trends for summer.

The L’Oréal Professionnel Summer Illusion colour collection comprises ‘Sandy Shadow Box’, ‘Sunset Horizon’ and ‘Sea Blue Illusion’. Each colour technique can be tailor-made to suit any lifestyle, hair length and texture.

"This is a collection of the unexpected, It is refreshing and good for the soul to take our imagination into new places challenging our limits. ‘Summer Illusion’ represents to hairdressers what it is to be a fashion colourist - how to inspire and excite consumers by updating their look.” Says Hayley Pullyn.

‘Sandy Shadow Box’ a flamboyant take on curly locks. Encompassing this season’s big hair trend this style takes it to the extreme with afro-esque teasing and amplified roots. Thinner ends add light body, with platinum rectangles of colour giving character to the honey blonde base.
