Charlize Theron - 69Th Annual Golden Globe Awards Hair By Enzo Angileri For Moroccanoil

Best Actress nominee Charlize Theron was a vision on the Golden Globes red carpet. Theron wore an exquisite pale pink Dior gown and a gorgeous look designed by her master hair stylist Enzo Angileri.
Theron’s style was the epitome of modern, romantic glamour. "I wanted her hair to have a casual feeling, very soft, almost as if she had pulled it together herself”, explained Angileri. "I made the most of Charlize’s natural waves, and created the style around her texture. The design itself is modern, asymmetrical, and just a little messy”, added Angileri.
"Charlize wore a dramatic Cartier diamond headband and when you have such an important piece of jewellery, it can become too much, almost old-fashioned, if you have slick, overstyled hair. I wanted to create an up-do that combined a bohemian, romantic, and casualmood, but was strong enough for the red carpet”, said Angileri.
"The essential and star product for this look was Moroccanoil Frizz Control. I also used Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray and Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray to create the look and keep the hair in perfect condition, with a lustrous shine and softness”, commented Angileri.
How the Look Was Created:
- Hair was styled when dry and curled in small sections, using a 2” curling tong, to enhance the natural volume and texture.
- Each curled section was misted with Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray and after hair was cooled, it was completely brushed through using a Moroccanoil Ionic Ceramic Paddle brush to eliminate any trace of separation, for a natural, clean, soft texture.
- Hair was swept to the left and divided into three sections. The first two sections were pulled and rolled into a loose bun and pinned into place, with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray misted over the hair throughout the process to control and hold the hair inplace.
- The last section was released and wrapped under and around the bun and pinned inplace.
- Small strands of hair were adjusted and freed from the bun - to create a more unstructured and messy look.
- Hair was sprayed with Moroccanoil Frizz Control to reduce flyways and create hold.
- The headband was placed at the front of the hair to finish the look.
