Freedom - Vision of the Elite by Intercoiffure Mondial + Video

Fashion is fueled by fantasies, by the freedom to question the well- tried and by the courage to create new things. Freedom, the new collection by Intercoiffure Mondial, defines multicultural trends. "Individuality is sought-after like never before”, says Klaus Peter Ochs, President of Intercoiffure Mondial. "There is a quest for freedom, progress and a personal meaningfulness”. The creative Fashion Team around Klaus Peter Ochs and Mauricio Pina, Fashion Director Latin America, has created four trends illustrating this forward-looking idea: Label Rats, Bohemian Freedom, Primary Freedom, Elitist Freedom. They all convey the strong feeling: feel free to express yourself in your own way. Mauricio Pina: "We want to display our craft and creativity in cuts and colors: the full hair fashion power of Intercoiffure”. Freedom means future and liberty, thus expressing what Intercoiffure Mondial holds dear: a positive fashion future as Vision of the Elite that transcends borders.

Label Rats

Nothing’s for sure, anything is possible: as long as it is original and colorful! Label Rats incarnate youthful rebels, they are wild and disobedient – and they love street-styles with a touch of design. The hairstyles: short cuts with a punk-chic feel, layered cuts with extravagantly thinned out bangs or braided Iroquois dos. A trend for boys or girls? Why set limits? Tomboy-girls and city pirates love it.

Sharp silhouettes. A new aesthetic that stands out through its unique and unconventional ways. Label Rats want to provoke but not to shock. Their looks digress from classical features and go for a neo-punk chic. The short cuts are reminiscent of Iroquois dos – yet with a soft sex-appeal. As the sides are not excessively short but braided to the side of the head. Thinned out layered cuts are spiced up by bursting bangs. Long hair always looks "undone” – just as if the "out-of-bed-style” had been invented just for them. Nothing seems to be perfect, yet has been creatively staged from A-Z.

Bohemian Freedom

More is more: curls, waves and Afro styles need to be oversized. Volume and movement for this seventies revival style. Bohemian Freedom shows itself as a modern day hippie, full of love of life and eager for novelty. Hairdos are casual in fiery red curls or sensual, boudoir style. Wild manes in sunny blond or chocolate brown rocker curls for freedom loving neo-hippies.

Freedom, dreams of shapes and volumes – untamed-looking hair symbolizes a certain lifestyle. Rules are there in order not to be taken seriously. The styles: magnificent long hair falling over the shoulders in soft big curls. Fiery mini curls flirting with the seventies and featuring an innovative Afro look. Bohemian Freedom celebrates the easygoing style of the hippies and adds a new sexy star appeal. This fun look shows that Bohemian Girls are constantly on the move: the hair sways; it has volume. Its texture and length vary. What about colors? From radiant platinum blond to delicious chocolate brown and shiny copper. The seventies are back - in an ultra modern version.

Primary Freedom

Laid back classic cuts. These cuts are graphically perfect and geometrical. Spot on trendy bi-color style. This trend draws on contrasts and is designed for non-conformists. A real showstopper: extensions for dyed strands or bangs. Primary Freedom loves precise lines and architectural looks with a few avant-garde details like a delicate veil of strands.

fashionistas are dynamic girls who know exactly what they want. The refined cuts in strong colors make for a classy combination. Powerful minimalism as power style: hair fashion like a design by Jil Sander, Blumarine or Balenciaga. Purism meets design, art inspires hair fashion. Expressive cuts with architectural outlines. Most striking in expressive colors and bi-color looks: extremely precise limits between blond and brown or as a gaudy touch in long copper toned hair where only the tips have been dipped into bright orange. Extensions and clip-ins achieve extravagant effects – be it as veil-like fringe or XL side strands. Bi-color effects in an overly long bob with extensions in radiant copper. A precise vertical line between fair and dark: a striking play on black and white as icon Daphne Guinness would wear it.

Elitist Freedom

Elaborate and virtuosic: awesome chignons like filigree sculptures, adorned with light-colored ribbons or headbands of braided hair. Star styles of soft waves reminiscent of Hollywood divas. The coloration: silky and shiny nuances of brown. Elitist Freedom presents gorgeous hair fashion and is charismatic, classy and sensual. A poetic vision of fashion: flattering, aesthetical, seductive and luxurious.

Sensational glamour: so elegant, so beautiful, so alluring. These hair-dos have a dazzling grandezza and a magnificent radiance. Aesthetically perfect, conveying fragility and strength at the same time – just like Haider Ackermann’s fashion designs. It’s all about fragile beauty and nostalgia. The chignons are ornate draperies for an evening out, adorned with a silk ribbon or a braid. Elitist Freedom isn’t excessive but sophisticated: like a radiant, brilliant Hollywood icon. It’s about living exclusivity.
