The NZ Hair & Beauty Expo returns to the Viaduct Events Centre 13–14 June, uniting the country’s most dynamic hair, grooming and beauty professionals under one roof.
Now in its 23rd year, this two-day powerhouse event is New Zealand’s only trade expo dedicated to the hair, male grooming and beauty industries — a must-attend platform where brands connect face-to-face with salon owners, stylists and key buyers.
The beauty and personal care sector is booming globally — with the market projected to reach over US$677 billion in revenue in 2025, and skincare alone topping $122 billion — fuelled by growing demand across all age groups and channels.
After a challenging few years, the industry is firing on all cylinders, especially male grooming and professional services. Expo Director Shaughan Woodcock says:
“Our industry has taken a few knocks lately, but it’s bouncing back with real vigour. We saw growth again last year — over 3,200 attendees, strong exhibitor engagement, and serious business being done across product categories. There was a buzz in the hall that reminded everyone why face-to-face connections still matter.”
Woodcock adds that visitors came from across New Zealand — with a strong contingent from Australia — and exhibitors reported increased activity across the board.
