Hair devotees from all over the country converged on The Cloud down on Queens Wharf in Auckland on the 6th and 7th May to experience the biggest and most exciting Hair Event ever to be staged here in New Zealand!
Sponsored by L’Oreal Professional Products, The Collective featured some of the best international Hair Stylists in the world, who came from afar USA, Canada and Australia.
Headlining The Collective was the incomparable Tabitha Coffey whose showcase, was in itself worthy of the cost of attending! Redken ‘Colour Ninja’ Justin Isaac caused a sensation as did Matthew Collins one of Canada’s top Stylists.
The Best of Australia’s hairdressing talent was also on display featuring; Damien Rinaldo, Kobi Bokshish, Stevie English and men’s hairdressing legend Uros Mikic. As a bonus the boys from Papas and Pace were there too!
It was an opportunity to witness some of the best Stylists New Zealand has to offer including; Mana Dave, Richard Kavanagh, Adrian Barclay, Rebecca Brent and Natasha King. The Fashion Hair Awards night was held Sunday Evening a complete sellout with over 750 people attending.
The awards night exploded into a fashion extravaganza featuring the latest collections from top NZ Designers; Zambesi, Stolen Girlfriends Club, Huffer, Wynn Hamlyn and Knuefermann. During the awards presentation the audience was treated to an amazing showcase by hair artists Michael Beel, Kylie Hayes and Richard Kavanagh.
